About Me
I am a rising senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida.
I chose this academic pathway as I believe it best represents my professional passions.Since childhood, I have been captivated by high-quality product and machine design and what makes them "smart." Today, I focus on applying my mechanical skillset - along with electrical and programming skills - to work on comprehensive engineering projects that embody the very complexity that has always intrigued me.
With 6+ years of experience designing and manufacturing hundreds of components & assemblies, multiple certifications, and various project experiences across multiple internships, research, clubs and courses; I am eager to continue developing my technical abilities in industries like product design, aerospace, themed entertainment, and others, contributing to work that push the boundaries of engineering and innovation.
Work Experience
WEAR Laboratory

Mechanical Research Assistant
August 2023 - Present
• Designed a contoured shin brace by compiling human factors to ensure ergonomic fit & comfort for various users.
• Rapidly prototyped design iterations, integrating piece with ratchet & pulley mechanisms, acheiving an estimated 18% energy conversion of transferred motion from elbow flexion into ankle drive.
• Optimized CAD models using SolidWorks to improve manufacturability of plastic parts (ABS, etc.) and designed assemblies for over 40 aluminum beams into frames.
Universal Creative

Mechanical Engineering Intern
January 2024 - May 2024
• Led FMEA of a passive show element for over 30 fabricated components to identify failure modes, working with fiberglass technicians to find corrective actions to improve quality of manufactured parts.
• Applied GD&T to design new optimized CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly documentation to ensure high-volume part reproduction.
• Partnered with SMEs to audit 90+ ride elements, measuring manufacturing tolerances to ensure vendor parts complied with ASTM F24 standards.
Limbitless Solutions

Mechanical Engineering Intern
May 2023 - August 2023
• Modeled & 3D printed over 5 testing fixtures & mechanisms, utilizing Fusion360 to iteratively fabricate prototypes for bionic hand research applications.
• Conducted FEA on digits up to 20Mpa before failure to assess the load capacity of injection molded prosthetics and validated results with physical testing.
• Authored a preliminary 10-page document (SOP) for future application of Tormach ZA6 robotic arm in lab setting to reduce bottlenecks in production.

Biomimicry Testing & Simulation
Description
Biomimicry is a project that sought to evaluate the hand structures found in nature (particulary birds) for prosthetic application.
How it Was Made
Used Fusion360 to model and prototype over 5 testing fixtures & mechanisims. FEA was conducted to evaluate the load capacity up to 20 Mpa before failure.

OneWorld MATLAB Integration
Description
Collaborated with a team to integrate map API into a mobile app using React Native to demo a global charity finder for submission for the Shellhacks 2023 hackathon.
How it Was Made
Used MATLAB to work on a feature that would confirm input coordinates by plotting them on a Mercator projection.

Plastic Bag String Spool Maker
Description
This is a project that is aimed to take strands from plastic bags and tension weave them into stronger string for broad recycling purposes.
How it Was Made
Used TinkerCAD to model housing and Fusion360 to document prototype design joined with Arduino, motor, amongst other electronics attached to breadboard.
Great Naval Orange Boat Race
Description
Collaborated with a team to create an automated trimaran replica that could transport cargo across pond.
How it Was Made
Used SolidWorks to model & shape foam structure that would be integrated with wiring the motors, batteries, and switches in parallel.

LED Acrylic Sign
Description
This sign was made to be a product piece that encapsulated different games released on steam created by a close friend of mine.
How it Was Made
Vectorized a hand-drawn image into a DXF in SolidWorks and laser engraved on an acrylic piece. This was fitted
into a routed & sawed wooden base and wired with an LED bar.

ME measurements car project
Description
Led group of 4 to manufacture a car model with the most aerodynamic design under set dimension constraints.
How it Was Made
Used SolidWorks fluid flow simulation to iteratively make optimal geometry adjustments that acheived a reduction in drag force by 38%. The model also was 3D printed and underwent wind tunnel testing.
