About Me

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida passionate about building products.

Since childhood, I have been captivated by high-quality product and machine design and what makes them "smart." Today, I focus on applying my mechanical skillset - along with electrical and programming skills - to work on comprehensive engineering projects that embody the very complexity that has always intrigued me.

Through my internships at SharkNinja, Hunter Industries, and Limbitless Solutions, I've been able to design new electro-mechanical hardware with CAD and simulation tools, ensure function through testing and analysis, and work cross-functionally with Industrial Design and overseas manufacturing to ultimately bring products from ideation to large scale production. I am now eager to bring my experience and skills to contribute to my next opportunity!

Biomimicry

Biomimicry Testing & Simulation

Description

Biomimicry is a project that sought to evaluate the hand structures found in nature (particulary birds) for prosthetic application.

How it Was Made

Used Fusion360 to model and prototype over 5 testing fixtures & mechanisims. FEA was conducted to evaluate the load capacity up to 20 Mpa before failure.

Morsebot gif

MorseBot

Description

MorseBot was a 2024 ShellHacks Hackathon submission that involved electrical, programming, and mechanical skills to develop a product that translates tactile presses into morsecode.

How it Was Made

Used Arduino platform to program a hashmap based code. Used KiCAD to design PCB and Solidworks to design enclosure.

WULL

WULL Research Project

Description

This was a research project that aimed to capture natural upper body motion (shoulder rotation and elbow flexion) and convert it into lower body motion.

How it Was Made

Used SolidWORKS to model plastic components to be integrated with larger exoskelton assembly coupled with bowden tubes and rachet mechanisms.

Trimaran

Great Naval Orange Boat Race

Description

Collaborated with a team to create an automated trimaran replica that could transport cargo across pond.

How it Was Made

Used SolidWorks to model & shape foam structure that would be integrated with wiring the motors, batteries, and switches in parallel.

LED Acrylic Sign

LED Acrylic Sign

Description

This sign was made to be a product piece that encapsulated different games released on steam created by a close friend of mine.

How it Was Made

Vectorized a hand-drawn image into a DXF in SolidWorks and laser engraved on an acrylic piece. This was fitted into a routed & sawed wooden base and wired with an LED bar.

Model Car

ME measurements car project

Description

Led group of 4 to manufacture a car model with the most aerodynamic design under set dimension constraints.

How it Was Made

Used SolidWorks fluid flow simulation to iteratively make optimal geometry adjustments that acheived a reduction in drag force by 38%. The model also was 3D printed and underwent wind tunnel testing.
